Below you will learn how to program your new garage door remotes directly into your door. However some older garage door dip switch remotes use a different (easier) method for coding. Replacement garage door dip switch remotes for the old style Merlin garage door remotes and Tiltamatic garage door remotes use a dip switch configuration to match the remote with the door. Matching these dipswitch configurations is easy and below we will teach you how to program your garage door dip switch remotes.
Please note if you have lost your existing garage door dip switch remote you can copy the configuration directly from the garage motor onto your new remote.
