Returns & Exchanges

We accept unused returns within 14 days of purchase.  Returns will only be accepted if they are unused and in their original condition & packaging.

We will also exchange within 14 days of purchase if you have made a mistake & purchased the wrong remote for your Garage Door Opener remote, provided it is undamaged & in its original condition & packaging.

Please note: We do not give refunds for change of mind.  (Once you have placed & paid for an order through our website the transaction is considered completed & we are unable to cancel & refund at any stage after that for change of mind purchases).   

How To Return Or Exchange Merchandise

To return or exchange merchandise purchased online, please download and complete a Returns/Exchange Form here noting the details of your return/exchange request and send this back with your merchandise. Merchandise purchased from our website can be returned via post to the below address: The Remote Warehouse Ltd, 10 Horokaka Place, Papamoa Beach, Papamoa 3118

Please allow up to 7 business days from the day your return is received by our online store for it to be processed. You will be notified via email as soon your return has been completed.

We do our best to facilitate all exchange requests, however from time to time items may be sold out &/or on back order with a supplier at the time of processing your return.  If this is the case you will be notified by email & offered the option to cancel & receive a refund or wait until the item/s are back in stock. All refunds are processed through a secure payment gateway and onto the payment type that was used for the original purchase.

Online Return/Exchange Postage

It is your responsibility to get the items back to us in good condition, please package items accordingly and select a method of post that allows the return to be received within the 14-day period. If returns are out of the 14-day period they may be accepted at the discretion of the customer services team.

Please note: We are not responsible for merchandise returned to our online store that is lost in transit.  We are not responsible for any return postage charges incurred, excluding the return of faulty stock. We are unable to refund postage if postage was paid for the original delivery.

Faulty Items

We provide a 12-month warranty on all products & will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act – This does not cover the misuse or damage to the product.

Please note: All products will be refunded less the freight cost of $7.00 per parcel.
